Norway and Iceland have very individual and vastly diverse landscapes, ranging from the deep fjords of Norway to black sand beaches and the volcanoes of Iceland. Both countries are a recent discovery, with my first trip to Norway only three years ago. These stunning countries are amazing, and are somewhere I would happily live given half the chance.
In addition to the epic vistas, you may be lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis when you visit. Nothing beats the magic of seeing them for the first time and it’s certainly an experience you will never forget.
The images below were taken from a number of visits to Iceland and my only visit to Norway. Although I plan to revisit Norway later in 2023.
